Maternal Packs Donated by Project YUMI

Thank you Project YUMI for donating maternal packs (towel, soap, maternity pads, baby clothes, baby blanket) for our mothers and their babies accommodated and cared for at the maternal waiting home in Goroka.

All our pregnant mothers come from remote communities in Eastern Highlands Province and lack essential items needed at the labor ward. Not having maternity packs, women can't go for supervised delivery at the Goroka Provincial Health. To overcome this, women were offered maternal packs at the time of delivery.
